Resolutions

I've already decided, this year I'm going to resolve to actually write on this blog. There have been many times in my life where I have started and never continued. But, this year I think I can accomplish this goal. So I am starting anew.

I recently spent the weekend in a town called Galena. My parents bought a weekend house up there a few years ago and it's always been a little retreat for my family. As enjoy it most of the time, but when you stay up there for more than a few days, I can get a little stir crazy.

None the less, the best part of Galena is the downtown area and the little local boutiques. My mom and I literally go to the same stores every time we come up. The storekeepers know us when we walk in the door and we've gotten to be friends with some of them.

This is the outfit I wore to go shopping. It was strangely warm for December, so I decided to be adventurous and wear no tights.

In the second photo, I tried to have a close up of my jewelery that is made by one of the local Galena characters, Jody McGill. The earrings are skulls and the necklace is a small profile. I love them so much!
